Dr Saad Al-Khalaf, a highly experienced consultant general psychiatrist based in Guildford, Surrey. He also covers a portion of Hampshire and London. Dr. Jennifer Laidlaw
Jennifer Laidlaw completed her MD at the University of British Columbia (UBC) prior to she completed her residency in psychiatry with the University of Toronto. During her residency she was actively involved in medical education and has presented at international conferences and written on the subject of delirium screening as well as social media and professionalism. She began her career at Surrey Memorial Hospital as the Head Consultation Liaison (CL) in Psychiatry. Her focus was on creating a flourishing, highly collaborative CL service that provides psychiatric treatment to patients in the surgical and medical units, including Palliative Care and oncology Units. She was also awarded a Facilities Engagement grant to develop guidelines for managing vulnerable patients at the hospital.
She is also the Provincial Practice director for Psychiatry in BC Cancer, Clinical Associate professor at UBC, and the Past-President BC Psychiatric Association. She is also an assistant professor in the Department of Psychiatry at Tufts University School of Medicine and an adjunct faculty member in the UM PMR and Family Medicine residency programs. She has a long-standing interest in musculoskeletal education and research. She teaches Neuromuscular Medicine and Musculoskeletal Medicine for Family Medicine Residents. She also has ongoing research projects focusing on electrodiagnostic medical musculoskeletal, and performing arts-medicine.
Dr. Pulkit Sing completed her medical degree at the University of New South Wales before completing her Psychiatry Residency at the University of British Columbia. She received the Undergraduate Teaching Award and the Psychotherapy Award during her training to acknowledge her achievements in these areas. She has worked in a variety of areas of Psychiatry and is particularly interested in Addiction Psychiatry, Psycho-oncology Psychiatry, Cardiac Psychiatry and General Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry.
Dr. Nadeesha is a psychiatrist who works with patients with BC Cancer. She has a strong interest in Psycho-oncology and particularly enjoys working with older adults. She has a long-standing interest in geriatric psychiatry and has served as a consultant to the Geriatric Psychiatry Consult Liaison Service and ECT service at Vancouver General Hospital. She is also a tutor and mentor for medical residents and students.
Dr Theresa Lo
Dr. Theresa Lo completed medical school and psychiatry training at the University of British Columbia. She has worked for the BC Cancer Agency and Surrey Mental Health.
