The molecular mechanisms of epithelial sodium-channel (ENaC) regulation are poorly understood. While various studies have suggested that protein kinase C (PKC) and casein kinase II (CK2) regulate ENaC, a direct link between PKC, CK2 and ENaC has never been demonstrated. We demonstrate that PKC is activated by epinephrine and that these activated PKC preparations decreased ENaC expression and activity in ENaC-express 6add127376 papaelwy
