Returning to the 2012 All-Star collection, the "Big Bang" colorway features the LeBron 9, KD 4, Air Foamposite One and Kobe 7. The LeBron 9 of the year was not to be missed because of its vibrant bright orange colorway. Aerospace patches on the tongue, luminous outsole, and the infamous "Galaxy" print on the inner lining elevate this shoe to one of the best of the year, and arguably the best LeBron 9 colorway to date. Confirmed to return in 2022, LeBron 9 "Big Bang" is sure to sell out immediately, as the aforementioned Watch The Throne LeBrons did earlier this month.
2020 Cheap Jordans, the Nike Air Max 96 II returns in near-original form for the first time in its 25-year history. And, while it didn't get as much attention as other styles with visible airbags, it continued to offer striking style to its cult following. Still a departure from the style of its debut, the 1996 design has recently resurfaced in a new arrangement that combines "Aura" and "Ashen Slate" shades with ruby. The aforementioned grayscale detailing is almost entirely limited to the sneaker's mesh base, although the upper's reflective panels also feature a tint. The silhouette swishes, as well as the Air Max unit and tread pattern, with a stark red contrast. Shades of off-white and a touch of icy blue make up most of the remaining components of the 26-year-old design, providing a fresh look for spring and summer.
Retro Jordan 2021, The Louis Vuitton Air Force 1 will go on sale on January 26, 2022, and auction house Sotheby's will be hosting an exclusive sale of the highly anticipated sneaker. A few weeks after Virgil Abloh's untimely death, the Louis Vuitton Air Force 1 features the French luxury brand's iconic Monogram and Damier motifs in a classic Air Force 1 form. Virgil's imprint is visible through "AIR" on the midsole and "LACET" on the end of the laces. Sotheby's expects to fetch between $5,000 and $15,000 a pair. However, we think the lower end of this forecast is too conservative, given the shoe's high expected level and the fact that Pilot Cases are limited to 200 pieces and won't be included in commercial launches later this year. Proceeds from the auction will benefit the Virgil AblohTM "Postmodern" Scholarship Fund, which has partnered with the Fashion Scholarship Fund to assist academically promising black, African-American or African-American students in their education. The shoes will start shipping in the first half of 2022, but the exact dates are subject to change.
