A Classy City Wedding in Autumn

It's a genuine pleasure to welcome Rachel and Robin, both university professors, to the pages today.

They married in October having a Christian service at East Lambrook, Somerset having a simple, English country, cream tea reception in the local village hall pair asked to capture both celebrations, leading to these timeless, romantic images. I just love the ones from the newlyweds walking with the fallen leaves in autumnal London.

Rachel selected two different gowns to wear for that two, completely different celebrations. For the church ceremony and country cream tea reception, she wore a pure white, lacy bride gown having a cinched-in waist and pretty cap sleeves.

"I wanted two different dresses (and 2 different hairstyles) to match the two completely different venues."

"We decided on a really elegant winter palette of berry reds to combine with the classic green and white. You may notice the pops of purple – especially added like the color of significance towards the groom."

The bride was along with a little page-girl inside pure white tulle flower girl dresses and cardigan combo, together with fresh flowers in her own, to complement the men's buttonholes. Meanwhile, the page boys wore smart little suits and waistcoats having a pop of red using their adorable bow-ties.

Rachel the church inside a car from Somerset's Mat Mattth Cars, before walking down the town aisle together with her uncle. Robin was awaiting her, looking smart inside a suit. Go

Rachel and Robin are committed Christians and also the local rector married them within the traditional service in the Adapted Book of Common Prayer Vows.

After being declared couple, the pair celebrated using their closest friends and family inside a simple, honest English cream tea reception within the local village hall. The traditional afternoon tea, and also the wonderful tiered cake, were supplied, served alongside cider.

Later within the month, the,y celebrated in fashion in London, hosting a good dinner party at Lon's Pall Mall. Both occasions were classic, understated, and seasonal – incorporating seasonal flowers of winter berry reds and oranges alongside pure white and green and accents of purple, a unique color for that groom.

"We met in a University event and I was engaged for ten months."

"We both loved every second of each of our days and can't eat which was special – the settings were perfect, as were the events. I think we liked the simplicity of the country wedding and tea but we also really loved the elegance of The Travellers Club in London."

"We feel realleged to possess celebrated our city and countryside connections with this type of wide group of family and friends. Some could attend both celebrations plus some just one but everyone vital that you could share our joy in some manner."
