A Romantic English Country Garden-Inspired Wedding

Meet Mr. and Mrs. Elleston; a Graphic Designer Eliza, and Adam, who's a Website Developer.

They were married around 11 August in the lovely in Clapham, Worthing, within the idyllic West Sussex countryside.

"We just completely fell deeply in love with the barn, the gorgeous views, and just how helpful and encouraging employees were whenever we were shown around. We're both local to the area, so wanted somewhere fairly nearby for family and friends. The barn is situated overlooking the most amazing fields that people often drive past."

"We became engaged in February 2017 on a romantic weekend visit to Venice. A few friends had inquired before we went if I thought Adam might propose, so probably the seed was planted a little in my mind. Adam then proceeded to invest the next couple of days stopping us on gorgeously romantic bridges, professing his love for me personally as I waited with bated breath, only for him to then keep on our walk. By the end of the weekend, I felt foolish for thinking it, convinced I'd imagined it all in my head."

"We both have the same favorite moment, that is walking back on the aisle together after you have married. We did it with the song All I Want Is You by Barry Louis Polisar (you may know it in the film Juno) playing, which we'd picked to become a bit silly and funny. After all of the emotion, and knowing that I was married, it had been the perfectly happy, joyful tune to simply cement the largest grins onto both our faces. I also loved seeing all of our beautiful friends and family for that first time once we walked down."

"I had three words I used as my main inspiration for that style and vibe from the day. My family made fun of me for this, but I think they helped me to remain on course and be sure I got a pleasant balance between all of them. They were: Fun, elegant, and whimsical."

Eliza's bridesmaids wore blush pink bridesmaid dresses with beautifully ruched bodices, with pink and gold shoes. On the morning of the wedding, Eliza gifted them each using their necklace. Click

In keeping using the whimsical, playful English country garden feeling she desired to achieve for that day, Eliza's bouquet, was full of brightly colored and sweetly scented Old English roses, as well as included ripening blackberries – this type of lovely idea!

Capturing the vibrance, color, and fun from the day was the photographer, with whom Eliza and Adam were thrilled.

"From the 2nd we found Olivia, we simply knew she was an ideal choice. Every photo she takes is simply absolutely gorgeous, plus she seems to capture the wonderful little magical moments that people wanted. We just loved her natural type of photography, where one can tell everyone is simply having an amazing time!"

"On the surface of her talent, Olivia was a complete ray of sunshine around the day, and I cannot let you know how many individuals have commented how great they thought she was. She captured our big day with such care and detail, and we love the results a lot."

After dessert and speeches, Eliza and Adam made their way over to the dancefloor for her first dance, and such a fantastic song choice they made – L-O-V-E, by Nat King Cole, then an evening of music.

Words of Wedded Wisdom

"Try to not get too bogged down within the tiny little details. There was one fateful sunny day that I spent completely inside, researching confetti from dawn until dusk. I now know everything, from how likely confetti would be to stain, which falls faster from petals and paper, and everything to think about for getting an ideal confetti shot. It did become perfect, but I definitely might have probably spent a shorter period on it."

"The other advice I'd give happens when you're right down to your previous couple of weeks, just stop planning and revel in it. I planned and planned and planned, but through the last bit I closed everything down and merely decided to be excited to get married. It meant shelving several unfinished details, but I'm so thankful I did this because it allowed me to chill and relax beforehand, making the day a lot more enjoyable – plus we didn't miss them."
