A Wedding in the Family Home

This is the wedding of Bella, a Funding Manager, and Rory, a Journalist.

They celebrated their marriage around 29 September 2018, having a ceremony in Great Barrington, then a reception in the home of Bella's parents, in Burford, Oxfordshire, in the beautiful marquee.

Bella's breathtaking lace wedding dress uses the softest of silk slip dresses, paired having a delicate overlay of floral and honeycomb-patterned lace.

"The dress was absolutely beautiful. The honeycomb lace skirt is unusual but simple, using the beautiful lace edge towards the train, and also the shape is elegant. I desired to make a handful of adjustments towards the shape from the dress therefore it was fitted in the waist, which was no trouble whatsoever for the wonderful team."

To complete her look, Bella wore a fingertip veil of gossamer light tulle, along with a hand-tied bouquet, full of autumnal beauties like deep crimson 'Night Queen' dahlias and love-lies-bleeding, astrantia, and hypericum, together with blush pink roses, ivy, skimmia berries, and foliage.

Inside St. Mary's Church, the florist decorated the stone pillars with wild and natural wreaths, there was a spectacular pedestal arrangement, filled to the brim with roses, greenery, and autumn berries.

Bella was accompanied on the aisle by her father, Robin, choosing Stanley Myers' Cavatina as her entrance music.

"We met at Edinburgh University in September 2008. Our wedding was almost ten years the day from the time we first met. Rory proposed on the walk-in Bibury, near my home, on December 30, 2017, so our engagement was nine months." Go

Following the ceremony, family members gathered away from church for much-spirited confetti throwing and also the chance to congratulate the newly married couple. The bridesmaids and flower girls wore dresses and shoes.

Bella and Rory took a walk in the crisp, autumn sunshine using their photographers, whose enchanting, joy-filled images captured all the excitement of the day.

"They were fantastic around the day, and also the photos are natural, and precisely what we wanted. From the first meeting it had been very clear they understood precisely what we were searching for, as well as their style is simply beautiful. We have had a lot of compliments on our photographs."

"The good thing about Olivia and Dan was how comfortable they made us feel around the day. They did not encroach whatsoever throughout your day but managed to get probably the most brilliant photos of every moment. They made us feel comfortable when I was doing our portraits, that was quite the feat given neither people are particular fans of getting our picture taken."

"The speeches and dinner were our favorite parts of the day! That was the time I was finally in a position to relax and be with these friends. As everyone says, your day flies by therefore it was just wonderful to finally sit together and celebrate."

After the delicious dinner had ended, it had been time to celebrate around the dancefloor, with live music from the band.

Words of Wedded Wisdom

"Don't believe that you have to stay with traditions when they don't feel best for you. I knew I didn't wish to have the traditional first dance, therefore we asked all of our friends to the dancefloor to begin the party together!"

"Enjoy the look process and don't sweat the little stuff. You're the only person who will notice if small things go wrong around the day also it won't be considered a problem at that time."

"Make time to take a few moments together with your new husband or wife throughout the day. The day goes so quickly also that it can be very overwhelming to function as the center of attention! Taking a handful of minutes just to determine everyone else enjoying your day is such great in itself."
