A Locally-Sourced, Art Deco-Inspired Wedding in Wales

Please include me in Wales for today's beautiful summer wedding.

Mr. Bayley and Mrs. Bayley married on 4 August 2018 in the bride's family church in Cardiff having a reception afterward at a Victorian country house, Miskin. The couple's day was relying on their shared love of history – the 1920s period particularly – and also the historic house would be a wonderful backdrop for any day that was loosely relying on 'The Great Gatsby'.

It was virtually love in the beginning sight for that bride and groom, who met at university and became engaged just 6 months after their first date.

"I fancied a 1950s Audrey Hepburn dress however when Rachel selected the wonderful Frankie two-piece I fell in love. I wore the two-piece for that day and for that evening I turned into the top. It flattered my figure also it fitted my shape. I would be a bit alert to my figure from a baby but this dress suited my shape."

"I don't like glitz, bling, or overstated clothes which means this dress is simple yet it allowed me to accessorize up, which I loved."

The flower girls wore long, sophisticated baby flower girl dresses. This brand is epic at creating elegant and timeless pieces having a modern twist – just look in the fun racer-back and flowy sleeves of those gowns.

The flowers were a genuine era-inspired celebration of hand-tied bouquets – filled with roses and statice in muted tones of whites, pinks, and purples. They were come up with by Rachael at Penarth. Here

"The shop was recommended by Rachel from Rachel Burgess Bridal Boutique and I fell deeply in love with the work florist Rachael had done. Rachael could capture my ideas as well as have some fabulous ideas for our daughter Nancy who were built with a flower crown along with a wonderful wand to compliment. I may have experienced bribing Nancy with the prospect of McDonald's within the wedding car to put on it also it may have only managed to get down the aisle however it was beautiful."

"We were both studying being history teachers and shared an appreciation of similar facets of history such as the Chartist and Suffragette movements. We started dating in December 2013 and were engaged by June 2014. We both felt like we'd truly met the main one and our relationship grew quickly however in a way that was natural to us both. We had been engaged for four years before I was married."

These crisp, clean, light-filled photographs are by the photography duo, who also created this lovely wedding film. I love the contemporary and relaxed feel of the images that are so vivid within their use of color. Mrs. Bayley covers how obtaining a photography team you bond with is important.

"These two are beyond fantastic. They are so personal making every effort to create your day perfect. They even solved the problem dress my daughter – I forgot to place pants on her behalf would you believe! I would recommend both of these and in the photos, you can see why. I would also state that if you possess a family then you definitely must book both of these – as mothers themselves they are fully aware exactly how to capture your child."

"The video they did helped me cry. I can't stop watching it. It captures our personalities so truly and I will treasure that forever."

Words of Wedded Wisdom

"Do what you would like to do. Don't pay attention to what everybody else wants and do what you would like. If you want to get married abroad only the two of you, do this. If you desire a big party inside a barn, do this. Don't feel pressure to complete what another person wants. I didn't and I had an ideal day for that reason."
