Splinting Injuries

A splint is a medical instrument that immobilizes the injured body part and protects it from further injury.

It cures the fractured bones by holding the broken ends together and in alignment. Periodically splinting injuries are used instantly following an injury due to swelling of the affected area. It can also use them following orthopedic surgery. After the swelling goes down, a whole cast might be applied to the injured limb.
